Who we are

HouseProjectCalc ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to provide home improvement cost estimates and, when you request it, to connect you with home-improvement service providers.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit our "get matched" form, we collect your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, project type, timeline, and any details you add.
• Consent and certification data. When you submit the form, we may record consent information, including a consent certificate token, the time of submission, and the page you submitted from, to document your agreement to be contacted.
• Usage data. Like most sites, we collect basic analytics such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and referring source. We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics for this. Our calculators run in your browser and do not by themselves send your inputs to us.

How we use and share information

• To match you with providers. If you submit the form, we share your request with one or more home-improvement providers (a lead network and the contractors it works with) so they can contact you about your project. By submitting, you authorize that sharing.
• Contact by phone, text, and email. Matched providers may contact you using the phone number and email you provide, consistent with the consent disclosure shown on the form. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of any purchase.
• To operate and improve the site, including analytics and security.
• Legal and safety, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your information for unrelated third-party advertising.

Your choices and rights

• You can decline to submit the form and still use every calculator on the site.
• You can ask matched providers to stop contacting you, and you can reply STOP to text messages to opt out.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. Contact us to make a request.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics process data under their own privacy terms.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
